Good evening everyone! Firstly, I’d like to apologise for missing a few posts here lately, as a team we seem to have had more than our fair share of poor internet connections and computer problems! I finally managed to get a good look round the galleries today, I hope you enjoy my picks:

blame it on the Y chromosome by Elena.V

Hhhmm, yes. This sounds like a very familiar conversation to me! I love that Elena took the time to record this little talk and how she used the almost cartoon-like frame and bold titlework to give the page some visual punch!

Celebrate Summer by Cinzia

Doesn’t this page just scream ‘summer’?! The faded pastels against the bright sunlit pops of colour are just perfect!

For the Birds by HeatherH

Such gorgeous blending and brushwork here along with some lovely photographs, the blue of the birds contrasts beautifully with the background papers.

A walk in the city by GeVisacri

What a great mixture of vintage and elements here, the processing on the photos really adds to the retro feel.

I Have Decided by girl boheme

This is a wonderful quote and it girl_boheme has illustrated it so beautifully. I can imagine this framed and hanging on a living room wall.

Au Fil Du Temps by honeyb

Check out the shadows! There’s such a wonderful sense of depth here, I want to reach out, grab that paintbrush and pluck that paper flower off the page!

June *On the house challenge by lmjrocko

This page jumped right out of the gallery at me! I love the play of all the different layers of paper and photos along with the lovely element clusters surrounding the smaller pictures. Beautifully handled colours too!

slip sliding away by neeceebee

Oh, the titlework! And the extraction effect! And the seamless placement of both into a fabulous page, I love this happy fun layout!

Fly Away by sillescrapper

What a great sense of motion captured here by sillescrapper, this page really has the feeling of a hot air balloon rising slowly and quietly off the ground!
