Finger Pointing – August 17

Happy Saturday Everyone! I am glad it is the weekend. It was like the longest week ever around here. Had sick little one and a sick hubby (which is so much harder than a sick little one…lol). Now it’s a beautiful Saturday and everyone is feeling loads better. YAY! I had so much fun in the galleries today. There were oodles and oodles of beautiful pages. It was so hard to pick 6 *sigh* I hope you like them though!!

Beautiful Childhood by SparkysGirl

this layout immediately stood out to me. The large photo blended perfectly is just so well done. I adore the rich warm colors too. It is really awesome how there is lots of layering, but yet still photocentric! Stunning job!

Fun & Adventure by MelanieRitchie

This page screams “fun” and I love it!!! I adore all the little bits of elements scattered about along with the instagram photos. The grid design is so perfect here to show off oodles of photos. There is a lot happening here but the page doesn’t feel too busy or over done. It is simply perfect!

Let’s Party by mrphoto

This is so so cute!!! I love the paper and the colors…everything just matches so well! The bits of stitching is a perfect touch and I love the zig zag paper cuts on the top and bottom. Just so much fun!!

Opposites Attract by aussiekat

I am in love with this two page layout! I have been looking at it for soooo long LOL! I feel like the “opposites” effect was done so well with perfect paper and element usage! It is so clear what she is scrapping here even without reading the journaling and I looove that!

Sing by Catgoddess

I adore the depth on this page. I feel like I can reach out and touch everything! The shadow work is phenomenal! The quote is perfect and makes this truly a work of art.

This Week: Empanada Research by AnalogPaper

One of my most favorite things about scrapping is documenting the everyday. If you know me at all, you know this is true! I love this scrap! I think it’s such a fun thing to document and she did it so awesomely! The fun colors really pop against the photos and there is a lot of depth and great shadowing! love it!
