Finger Pointing-March 4th

Greetings and happy first Friday of March! This is Jana and I have today’s Gallery Standouts ready for you to enjoy! Let’s get started.

This first layout, Oh the Places by pam p, really stirred my imagination. I wondered where this place was and if this vessel was the only way to get there. The blending and framing are wonderful and all of the little pieces of maps showing certainly compliment the photo. She processed this photo with apps, which can always be a lot of fun! You never know what you’re going to get. Beautiful colors, beautiful page!

I adore this next one! I Like to Create Pretty Things by klee 73010 is a fabulous composition of elements, word art and brushes. I love the flower garden she created and it has such a whimsical charm to it. I think the gray chevrons work so well with all of the other colors and I like how they add movement. Delightful page!

This layout, love by AnikA, really stood out in the gallery! The clean graphic style is very striking so is the use of white space. I love the patterned paper border on the right side and her shadow work is amazing. The simple shapes, the black & white theme with the pops of pink, bring the focus right into that adorable photo. Super!

Okay, are you ready for a hoe down? Barn Dance by trinanne209 is totally awesome! Her extractions are perfect and that little cowgirl sure knew how to pose! I love where these cute photos are placed, giving movement to the page and adding such character. The rustic woodgrain background and the western elements all make me want to go to this barn dance tonight! Fun, fun page!

This next layout is fabulous! tropchou2 by Audrey* is a masterpiece of layering and use of products. First of all, I love the teal and red combo-beautiful! The sepia photo is so sweet, too. It’s not that often that you see multiple banners on one page, but this one has two banners and they both work. Great brush work, paint splats and composition with so many elements. Awesome!

Here is my final pick for today.  In My Heart by tanpopo is absolutely gorgeous! I love the large blended photo on the background, accompanied by the smaller framed one. It’s a great way to use only one photo two ways. The cluster of flowers have great depth and are placed just perfectly on the page. I seriously want that feather…it’s amazing so is all of the brush work! I love the soft color palette and the word art. Stunning layout!
