Hello fellow travelers! My day is drawing to a close and what a better way to end it but by pursuing memories captured through digital art. I did not realize it at the time but it looks like “blue” was my jam. Onward! In no particular order…

Ah, this one made me giggle. So stinkin creative! I feel like I’m seeing it through a child’s eye and the small elements with a fantastic type – – not to mention it is an excellent example of white space — The bend in the paper right behind the photo and blue paint is just perfect. BLUE!

And, more blue! My heart just melts when I look at this beautifully captured photo. After a “lifetime” you can still see the joy and love. Great choice of title and word art placement and the lift of the photo and the teeniest tiniest bird.

Well, hey, don’t make me say it! But the best part is it is the ocean! I’m telling you guys…one day you are going to stop by here and I will be celebrating my move to the coast! I love the stitch/drawing that mimics the shape of the photo and paper – The sweet small elements and the most outstanding title work with the weaving! Swoon!

My goodness. Perfection. Great photo, nice wide open space, with the best themed elements! Don’t forget the light white chalk in the background. This is what memory keeping is about!

My first thought was “you go girl”. For some, maybe many, we have to tell this to ourselves all of the time because out there – the world – compares us to EVERY. THING. Size, shape, color, age…the list goes on. But here she has created her own ‘queen’ crown to proudly wear. I think the black image is an excellent choice to balance the work – the edges pull the colors out and the type and word art is excellent. You go, girl!

Eeep!! A nana! Keeping memories alive for a lovely bunch of ladies. The colors are a great choice – including the light paint in the back that pulls the color out of the photo and is balanced by the other two paint patterns. The frame sets it off and I love the blocked journaling and the type. Yes, ma’am!
